Truck Fire Equipment

In the United Kingdom, it is a requirement that vehicles that are subject to the ADR (International Carriage of Dangerous Goods by Road) Regulations carry fire extinguishers.  All fire extinguishers carried must be capable of fighting class A, B and C fires and suitable for fighting engine or cab fires.  In addition, fire extinguishers should be easily accessible and those fire extinguishers that are carried on the outside of the vehicles should be protected from the effects of weather.
