The Office fire Safety Kit from FireMart offers the perfect solution for most small office environments consisting of 1 number 2kg Carbon Dioxide fire extinguisher and 1 number 6ltr Foam fire extinguisher offering protection from potential fire risks that may be caused by paper, material or furniture fires as well as protetcing against electrical equipment fires. The Office kit includes a rotationally moulded Jonesco double stand complete with fire extinguisher ID signs and a call point sounder for raising the alarm.the stand will fit neatly in any office and provides a ready-made fire protetcion area. The Fire extinguisher ID signs can quickly and simply be fitted to the fire extinguisher stand or placed on the wall area above.

Remember that if you have a larger office or premises that cover more than one floor then you may require more than one kit.

CARBON DIOXIDE FIRE EXTINGUISHERS:
Carbon Dioxide (CO2) Fire Extinguishers are suitable for class B fires, which are fires that involve flammable liquids such as oils, petrol and solvents. Carbon Dioxide Fire Extinguishers are also suitable for use on live electrical fires and can be used to protect electrical equipment such as computers and servers. Carbon Dioxide fire extinguishers are ideal for use in offices and small businesses and for using on electrical equipment as they do not leave behind any sort of residue that may cause harm to electrical equipment. In an office and other industrial environments, a carbon dioxide fire extinguisher would usually be loacted alongside a water or foam fire extinguisher to ensure protection against Class A (paper and wood etc.) and Class B Fires.

FOAM FIRE EXTINGUISHERS:
Foam fire extinguishers are ideal for multi-risk situations where class A and B risks exist. Class B fires, those involving flammable liquids, such as petrol, diesel, spirits, solvents and lubricants, can be tackled very effectively. Foam fire extinguishers contain an aqueous film forming foam which gives rapid flame knock-down and has a blanketing effect, removing oxygen smothering the flames and sealing vapours to prevent re-ignition. All models, with the exception of the Foam Branchpipe, have a spray nozzle which produces a very effective spread of foam, even when used by an inexperienced operator. The FireMart Kitemarked foam fire extinguishers are often paired with 2kg Carbon Dioxide (Co2) extinguishers providing protection against class A and B fires and live electrical risks in offices, warehouses and other inductrial environments. Foam fire extinguishers should NOT be used on live electrical equipment. The fire extinguishers are supplied complete with bracket and can quickly and easily be wall mounted or placed on a fire extinguisher floor stand.
